GE/Osmonics Autotrol Series 255/762 water softeners consists of the tried and true, 5 cycle, "255 valve" topped with Autotrol's fully programmable "762" control module. This combination makes for a very dependable unit that is economically priced with very good efficiency ratings.

The 762 micro-processor has non-volatile memory meaning it can store and retain operating information during power outages; it can then resume normal operations when power is restored. An optional non-rechargeable battery backup feature allows the clock to be retained, as well. The 762 computer is fully programmable for adjustable backwash, brine-rinse and purge cycles. Program settings include 17 options for precise water conditioning control. The digital programming panel eliminates the need to adjust and align gears and levers for cycle control.

All Series 255/762 are "demand meter controlled" which means a flow meter monitors daily water usage to determine when regeneration is required; economizing salt by regenerating only when needed. This series is topped with Autotrol's equally dependable 440i control module. The combination makes for a very dependable unit that is economically priced.

The 440i Control Module is simple and easy to use and can be programmed for automatic regenerations at regular intervals for up to seven consecutive days. We have Whole House Filter Housings and Filter Elements to meet your needs.  Smaller housings can be ideal for "localized filtering applications," such as before the kitchen sink, or for a shower or bath.  Before you buy from your local hardware store, check with us first...  

FILTER HOUSINGS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL!  Typical "low cost department store" filter housings internally choke the flow of water down to 3/8 of an inch, or less!  So even though you connect them to 3/4 inch or larger supply lines, this restriction can effectively reduce the flow capacity to your entire home or specific downstream device - a big problem for bathtubs, spas and showers!  We have full volume pass-through housings that maximize flow and pressure.  Give Us a Call!
