A Word From President, and Owner, John Clements. |
Poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge penned, "Water, water, everywhere, but not a drop to drink." In his defense, he never even heard of Clements Water Refining Service! Of course... (Continued from HOME PAGE) |

| ...he wrote that in 1797 before water softeners and reverse osmosis was invented. But, seriously, in Coleridge's time, being surrounded by sea water meant praying for rain if drinking water was in short supply. Today, we routinely desalinate ocean water for drinking purposes by separating water molecules from a myriad of harsh elements. |

Many
people don't know that this same technology is affordable and fits under
most kitchen sinks! It's called "Reverse Osmosis" (R.O.)
and is truly a miracle of modern science. What
will surprise you most, perhaps, is how few
components are actually required! Hopefully, you don't
have salt in your water, but R.O. technology can
be used with a well or city water supply to extract water molecules, again,
from a myriad of other elements. Your family
can have the purest water for drinking, cooking
and many other uses. |

Over 35 years ago, my father literally started this company in the basement! He believed people would become increasingly more concerned about water quality; even with municipal (city) water. HOW RIGHT HE WAS! The company has grown steadily just as he suspected it would. When my father retired in 1995, I bought the company and expanded operations; purchasing one building and then, a second. I maintain the same successful ideal it was founded upon: to educate the public on water quality; to present solutions that fit everyone's needs; to provide fast, dependable and honest service. You know that good, clean water in your home is important. But, you may not know that softening your water can cost you less than doing nothing at all! In fact, a water softener is one of only two appliances you can buy that will save you money! (The other is a refrigerator.) Hard water is not only annoying, but costs you money. You use more cleaning supplies every day. Not only from scrubbing to remove stains and hard water deposits, but more dish and laundry soap, shampoo and bath soaps are required, too. With hard water you may have dry, itchy skin and damaged hair from using more soap and shampoo than necessary. How about the taste and smell of your water? Does your cooking sometimes taste "metallic" or even smell "funny?" How about coffee, tea, concentrated juices, and other beverages? |

Are you buying gallons and gallons of bottled water from the grocery store for drinking and cooking? Stop by or give us a call for a lower cost solution. When was the last time you had your water tested? Give your household water quality some good consideration. Is it as good as it can be? You often can't do much about the water coming to your home or business, but there are plenty of solutions for you once it is inside the building! My father and I have worked hard to provide a selection of products to suit everyone's needs. I understand these selections may seem confusing to you, but there are only a few decisions for you to make. The condition of the water coming into your home (i.e., hardness and impurities determined from a water test) have already made the tough decisions for you! The remaining options you must consider pertain to features you desire and, of course, your budget. That's about it! You're well on your way to understanding what you need to know about your home's water quality. This website should help answer your questions. Also, we are available to personally address any specific concerns or questions you may have.
